Greater Houston Permanency Collaborative

The Greater Houston Permanency Collaborative (GHPC) is BEAR’s newest program, dedicated to providing resources and services to support foster and adoptive families, including both pre and post-permanency. By connecting child welfare professionals, child placing agencies, non-profit organizations providing resources to foster families, (DFPS) Department of Family & Protective Services workers, and other local partners, the GHPC works to remove obstacles to adoption and provide essential resources and support to ensure lasting permanency for youth and families.

Join our community that is committed to providing resources and services to support foster/adoptive families, including both pre and post-permanency. Whether you are a (CPA) Child Placing Agency, a non-profit providing resources to foster families, (DFPS) Department of Family & Protective Services worker, a church, or a bridge organization, we welcome you to our collective!

As a united collaborative, we will partner to share resources and services to better serve families in the greater Houston community. Through networking events, foster/adopt info sessions for the community, cross-organization gatherings, and media & event promotions, we will build a stronger community for stakeholders and families alike.
