Heart Gallery Committee Description
The Heart Gallery is one of BEAR’s key programs, dedicated to raising awareness and finding forever families for children in foster care who are legally available for adoption. As a member of the Heart Gallery Committee, you will be an advocate for these children, share our mission, and assist with Heart Gallery exhibits.
Committee Membership:
- Be informed about the Heart Gallery’s services, policies, and BEAR’s other programs.
- Be a steward for the Heart Gallery program, sharing our purpose and goals within your sphere of influence.
- One-year commitment
- Attend a minimum of 4 committee meetings per year (meetings occur monthly).
- Attend and help with logistics of the annual Sip & See event.
- Suggest possible nominees to the committee who can make significant contributions to the work of the committee as well as BEAR.
