What kinds of displays are used?

There are three kinds of displays: Easel Exhibit, Permanent Electronic Exhibit, and Virtual Electronic Exhibit. Easel Exhibit~ Portraits of the children are on stretched canvas museum mounted 20×24″ portraits that can be easily hung on walls or displayed on easels. How long do exhibits last?

The traveling exhibit can be hosted for a variety of time frames, including one-day special events, or longer term exhibits.

What kinds of spaces can be used for an exhibit?

Heart Gallery exhibits can be customized for any space and have been everywhere from airports to small churches, salons to cafes, stores to corporate offices, doctor offices, one day events as well as festivals.

2. What is the difference between foster and adoptive parents?

Both foster and adoptive parents care for and provide for the immediate needs of the children in their home.  Foster parents are working towards reunifying a child with their biological families where adoptive parents have made a lifelong commitment to parent the children as if they were biologically their own.

5. Why does CPS need adoptive homes?

Although the primary goal of DFPS is to return children to their biological families, sometimes that is not possible.  In that case, we look for permanent adoptive homes for the children.
